A few months after giving birth, they shine on the red carpet and show perfect forms on the catwalks. We decided to figure out how the models manage to get back in shape in a short time.

It’s hard to believe, but this fragile model with a girlish figure and a childish smile is the mother of five children. Natasha is active during pregnancy, takes part in candid photo shoots, and continues to travel around the world with the Naked Heart Foundation’s charitable mission.

In numerous interviews, the model admits that extra pounds after childbirth go away on their own (“thanks to genetics”), and in the fight against stretch marks, Vodianova’s main allies are masks and body wraps based on seaweed and blue clay.

Doutzen Kroes

At the end of July 2014, the Dutch model became a mother for the second time, and, like after the birth of her first child in 2011, she had less than six months before returning to Victoria’s Secret Angels.

The main assistant of the model on the way to the previous forms was ABS strength training – exercises for the abdominal and back muscles. In addition, Croesus completely excluded carbohydrates from the diet, replacing them with protein foods. Another ally of Doutzen is juice unloading, which the model arranges for her body before the shows.

Miranda Kerr

Some models benefited from pregnancy – for example, Miranda Kerr. The teenage and rather strict figure of the Australian has acquired seductive forms. It was after the birth of her son Flynn in 2011 that Miranda was entrusted with presenting the legendary Very Sexy Fantasy Bra from Victoria’s Secret, embroidered with precious stones.

Kerr had less than six months after giving birth to prepare for such an important event in the life of each “angel”. Therefore, after two weeks of the “young mother” regimen, the model began to do yoga Pilates every day and gradually introduce strength training.

Miranda’s diet was also strictly calculated: the morning began with fresh fruits, eggs, and avocados, for lunch the model “pampered” herself with a salad with seafood or vegetables, and for dinner with fish or steamed steak.

Gisele Bundchen

But Gisele Bundchen began to prepare for postpartum recovery during pregnancy. The model became interested in yoga and meditation, and immediately after the birth of a child, she began to practice the oriental martial art of kung fu for several hours a day.

In order to return to duty as soon as possible, Giselle had to change her diet – the model switched to a nutrition system with an energy value of 1500 kcal per day.

Heidi Klum

Look at this fit woman, it’s hard to believe that she is the mother of four children. During pregnancy, Heidi never limited herself and gained more than 20 kg each time. But a few weeks after giving birth, she proudly walked the catwalk of the most demanding show for models – Victoria’s Secret.

Klum assures that her secret is in constant movement: in addition to daily workouts and a specially designed protein diet, Heidi spends a lot of time with her children – she jumps on a trampoline with them, plays active games, and goes for a run.

Alessandra Ambrosio

In one of the interviews, Alessandra admitted that she easily got rid of extra pounds after childbirth, but her personal trainer helped her regain her former elasticity of the body: “Exercise machines and running are mortal boredom, but my trainer is a professional and knows how to interest me. My workouts are a mix of capoeira and samba, very effective, and most importantly, very fun.”

In order not to miss the annual Victoria’s Secret show, Alessandra, a famous sweet tooth, had to limit herself in food: for a while, she completely excluded foods with sugar and white flour from her diet.

Adriana Lima

But Adriana Lima had a harder time than her colleagues on the podium – she had to lose the kilograms gained during pregnancy in just two months. The model went in for boxing every day, her favorite sport, and added enhanced cardio workouts to her fitness diet. And a week before the show, she went on a strict diet, the menu of which consists of water and specially selected protein shakes.
