The head of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg announced a new button on the popular social network:

Mark admitted that users of the social network had been asking the Facebook development team for a long time, but initially, the “Dislike” button went against the way its creators saw the social network. According to Zuckerberg, the appearance of two emotions at once would make Facebook initially similar to the Reddit forum system, where the voting function “for” and “against” works. And this, according to Mark, is absolutely not the message that they wanted to put into the dislike sign. The founder of Facebook wants the “dislike” button to become not a “no” vote, but an expression of sympathy.
It is not yet known exactly when the button will become available to users. According to Zuckerberg, this will happen “soon.”
