In some beauty salons, a new service has appeared under the tempting name “smart pedicure”. We asked the nail master to tell us how this type of pedicure differs from the rest – and who is recommended to do it first. Spoiler: for some of us, it will be real salvation!
Dryness and peeling of the heels are not only aesthetic problems. Often behind this imperfection lies discomfort and even pain when walking – not to mention the discomfort when touching the skin.
If a standard pedicure relieves you of dryness for a very short period, try a smart pedicure. We tell you why it is worth the money.
Smart pedicure is one of the main trends in the beauty world, which has no contraindications. First of all, it is recommended for those who, for medical reasons, cannot do a classic pedicure: for example, due to mycosis, diabetic foot, or hyperhidrosis.
The main difference between a “smart” pedicure and a classic hardware procedure is in the form of nozzles that are used to treat the skin. Smooth flat discs, unlike sharp caps in the standard procedure, do not heat up and do not cause any discomfort. In addition, the feet do not need to be soaked, and due to the special execution technique and the larger processing area, a smart pedicure takes only 20-30 minutes!
The procedure takes place in several stages
- Treatment of nails with the use of special protective compounds, removal of the cuticle, and alignment of the shape
- Foot treatment with a device with a special patented nozzle. And here it is important to properly hold the nozzle in relation to the foot. The stable tilt angle is 45 degrees, but for any serious skin problems, the angle can be adjusted up to 60-70 degrees (for example, with severe calluses)
- Coating with varnish or medical varnish at the request of the client
Smart pedicure is recommended to be done once a month, and in the summer and in the presence of certain problems – up to two times a month. Regular carrying out of such a procedure makes the skin of the feet soft, prevents peeling, and allows you to keep your nails in perfect condition. What is important, the procedure is absolutely painless and completely sterile, and the disk that was used to treat the feet is disposed of immediately after admission.
