Now Evan Peters is a young and talented actor who is adored by literally everyone! He gained popularity thanks to the central roles in the TV series American Horror Story, in which the actor demonstrated all his acting skills and talent. During his career, he managed to reincarnate as a superhero, maniacs, suffering teenagers, a cult leader, and even a guy who was abducted by aliens. And these are only his most famous roles.
But what was he like before he became famous?

Evan Thomas Peters was born in St. Louis, Missouri (USA) on January 20, 1987. He is not the only child in the family: in addition to Evan, the Peters have a son, Andrew. On his father’s side, Evan also has a paternal half-sister, Michelle.
Peters are believers. Evan went to a Catholic elementary school. His father, Phil, was vice president of the Charles Stuart Mott Foundation and fought with its members for the civil rights of Eastern Europeans. And Evan’s mother, Julie Peters, is a housewife.
At a younger age, he lived and studied in St. Louis, but then, in 2001, the family moved to the city of Grand Blanc, in Michigan. There, a talented and cheerful boy began to take his first creative steps. Cheerful and talented, he constantly participates in competitions, school amateur performances and even achieved considerable success in this. Parents, supporting his talent in every possible way, send Evan to a modeling school and a drama studio so that he develops further.
At the competition in Florida, Evan receives a whole bunch of awards, and recognition becomes an impetus for further career growth. The turning point was during one of the photoshoots: a professional photographer drew attention to him and recommended the guy to an agent in Los Angeles. Evan’s film career begins.
Moving to Los Angeles
The brightest moment was when Evan and his mother moved to Los Angeles. He was fifteen years old. Young, optimistic and talented, with a huge armful of ambitions and desires, Evan immediately plunges into his new life. The future star participates in shows, competitions, tests, and since 2002 even begins to play the first small roles in TV shows.
His first significant award was for the role of Adam in the series “Saving Adam”: it was an award for the best breakthrough at the Phoenix Film Festival – Phoenix Film Festival.
This was followed by other roles, mostly minor ones: “American Crime”, “Never Give Up”, “Night Gardens” and “Kick-Ass”.
Evan’s second career breakthrough came when he landed a role on American Horror Story.

The horror anthology American Horror Story introduced us to many great actors, and also opened these actors to the world of big cinema. Evan Peters is one of them.
In the first season of the now legendary show, the action takes place in a murderous house. A beautiful home in California, with a pleasant location and wonderful neighbors, as well as fittings from Tiffany, attracts a new family. But none of them realizes that in addition to the beautiful house there are the ghosts of its former tenants and owners who died here.
Evan Peters, then a young and almost unknown actor, played the sad teenager Tate Langdon, who in fact turns out to be the ghost of a psychopath who has staged a shooting at his school. This season, he worked very closely with another talented actress – Taissa Farmiga
By the way, Taissa Farmiga comes from a family of Ukrainian emigrants. She is also the younger sister of Vera Farmiga, also an Oscar-nominated actress.
Evan liked the audience so much in the series that he stayed for the second season, in which he played the role of Keith Walker, the same sad young guy who is suspected of brutal murders and put in a psychiatric clinic for the mentally ill criminals. This time, Evan creates a delightful duet with another talented actress – Sarah Paulson, who would later become one of the regular actresses who starred in subsequent seasons of American Horror Story.
Evan returned to the role of a sad boy in the third season dedicated to the witches’ coven. Taissa Farmiga, Sarah Paulson, and Jessica Lange return for the same season.
Together with Evan, his acquaintance from the film “Adult World”, Emma Roberts, who became the biggest disappointment, spoiling all the seasons of “American Horror Story” in which she appeared, is removed.
In subsequent seasons, Evan Peters only grows and develops as an actor, improving his skills and getting used to more and more new roles, as well as showing the public that he can not only transform into a sad boy with heavy thoughts that make them frown and blow lips.
In the fifth season of American Horror Story, Evan Peters plays one of the main roles, playing the role of Jimmy Darling, an actor in the so-called freak circus, nicknamed “the lobsterman.”
A real breakthrough for Evan as an actor can be considered in the fifth season of the series, which was released on October 7, 2015. It was, perhaps, the most stylish season, performed simply amazing on all counts: cool music, atmosphere, and most importantly, the casting.
Evan Peters has landed the role of charismatic sadist and serial killer James Patrick March. And then Evan turned his acting skills to the fullest, creating an indescribable and truly stylish image, standing out among all the other actors who played with him on the set.
Perhaps this is the brightest and most beautiful role of Evan Peters, which made goosebumps run down the back from horror and admiration. For the role of Mr. March, Evan was inspired by the image of William Powell to speak with a peculiar accent, which was spoken in the 20s and 30s.
“I had never heard of William before, so I decided to watch all the films with his participation. And you know, he really has this special accent. In the 1920s and 1930s, people spoke a little differently than they do now. So I tried to imitate him. In general, he is a little creepy, and his eyes are insidious. It was really fun to play such a role,”

The difficulty was also that it was extremely difficult to stand out on the set because Lady Gaga herself played the wife of Mr. March! She played a bright antagonist, but every time Evan and Gaga appeared on the screen together, they literally stole all the attention of the viewer. As well as when they appeared separately.
Evan really liked working with Lady Gaga, which he talked about more than once in his interviews with reporters.
“In life, she is not a diva at all, she is very calm and always ready to work in a team. But she can get into the role so much that it scares the hell out of you, can you imagine? we had one scene, I think in episode 7, very intense, and Gaga scared the hell out of me… It’s great to watch her switch and start working, you know? It’s amazing. Being next to Gaga is a real pleasure.”

The next role in Roanoke, as the sixth season of American Horror Story, was called, was more episodic and inconspicuous than any special, but the public early dismissed Evan. In the seventh season, entitled “Cult”, Evan Peters returned to us in the form of a completely repulsed maniac, racist, and dictator Kai Anderson.
In the future, the role of Evan Peters in the new seasons of American Horror Story becomes smaller and smaller. If in the seventh season he dragged all the attention to himself, then in the eighth he lost to another stealer of the audience’s attention – Cody Fern.
And in the ninth season, he completely refused to play, which terribly upset all the fans. By the way, they managed to accuse Evan’s ex-lover, Emma Roberts, of being the reason for the reluctance to star in the series. However, we are still of the opinion that Evan is simply tired of acting in such a long-running (as much as nine years!) Project.
Evan Peters in the X-Men universe
In 2014, Evan Peters began playing one of the characters in the X-Men film series: he got the role of Peter Maximoff (Quicksilver). And if the role of Evan in X-Men: Days of Future Past seemed extremely ordinary to critics, and the audience scoffed at the wig given to the actor, then in X-Men: Apocalypse he turned out to be more noticeable.
In 2018, Evan appears as Quicksilver in the Deadpool sequel, and in 2019 in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
Evan Peters’s personal life
The story was silent about all the relationships of Evan Peters, except for those that were with Emma Roberts. They met on the set of Adult World and then began filming American Horror Story together.
Gradually, the actors began to get closer and in 2012 began to appear together in public as a couple. But the smell of fried almost immediately: in July 2013, when the couple spent the night in a Montreal hotel, they quarreled so much that other guests called the police. It turned out that Emma finally finished Evan: the actor had a broken nose and his lover bit him! Naturally, she was immediately arrested and taken to the station.
After a couple of hours, the bully was released, but the sediment remained.

But soon the relationship between Emma and Evan begins to crack again. In 2015, an insider close to the couple spoke about the termination of the engagement, explaining that their relationship had long outlived itself:
“They have so many great memories together, but they haven’t been able to work through their issues. The gap was inevitable – they did it without a scandal.
On Evan’s birthday that same year, the couple got back together, but not for long. Already in May 2016, Evan and Emma broke up and the actor deleted all joint photos from his social networks. Rumor has it that the reason was Emma’s passion for a colleague in the shop – Christopher Hines.
In September 2016, Emma ended Hines and got back together with Evan, but in 2019 she left Peters again for Kirsten Dunst’s ex, Garrett Hedlund.
