File manicure quickly done and does not leave cuts (1)

If for you every trip to the nail studio turns into cuts, irritation, and general dryness of the skin, take a closer look at the new manicure technique.

It does not use any tools other than files. But the result is much cooler than with a hardware manicure!

No matter how much has been said about the benefits of a salon manicure, for some women it does not cause any feelings, except for fear and unwillingness to return to the salon in the near future. And often the craftswomen who do not spare the hands of their clients are to blame for this. They treat delicate areas with a too sharp (and fast!) cutter, leaving irritation and cuts. Some of them manage to cause injury even with a file, especially when your nails are too thin and brittle. And we are not talking about all the pain that can be inflicted with scissors – here, as they say, who is in what much 🙁

It’s good when you managed to find a master who understands you, works carefully, and listens to the comments. Alas, some manicurists are only annoyed by the complaints of clients, and they either continue the procedure as it suits them or leaves their hands without proper treatment. And it is unlikely that such options will suit you. After all, you went for a beautiful manicure, not cuts and “torn” cuticles!

Well, did we manage to fully describe the pain that a low-quality manicure brings? If in these lines you have learned situations from your life, do not worry. Not so long ago, a new manicure technique appeared in the nail industry, which suits even the most delicate hands. Forget about pain and cuts by trying a nail file manicure.

What is a nail file manicure?

From the name of the technique, it is easy to guess that when performing such a manicure, the main role is given to a nail file. And to be more precise, a whole set of files with a soft abrasive for different parts of the finger, because the cuticle, nails, and periungual roller require a certain degree of processing. If you use a regular file in the method, you can only aggravate the situation, so be careful!

Unlike all other types of manicure, the sawing technique is considered the softest and most non-traumatic. No cutting tools are used: absolutely everything superfluous is removed solely thanks to the files. In addition, you can use a cuticle pusher or an orange stick to push back the cuticles, but nothing else!

The whole technique comes down to the study of nails with files, with different speeds and types of movements. And the master must learn this in specialized courses so as not to damage your nails. Such courses, like sawing techniques, are now very common, so qualified specialists are easy to find even in small towns. And that’s why.

What do masters think about nail file manicure?

In general, a nail file manicure was invented by a practicing nail master – star manicure specialist Christina Fitzgerald. Back at the end of the 2000s, the Australian launched her own brand for nail and hand skincare, which over time was replenished with atraumatic files – from now on the main bestseller of the brand.

The creator of the method initially presented nail file manicure not only as a godsend for very delicate hands but also as a salvation for the nail masters themselves. Treating nails in this way is much easier than the rest, and for many reasons at once:

  • File manicure requires less sudden movements – the hands of the master do not get tired as much as with a hardware manicure, and its implementation takes only 20-30 minutes (!);
  • There is almost no nail dust during nail file manicure, and this is a very strong allergen;
  • Nail file manicure is loved by clients because it is absolutely painless and gives a “cleaner” and smoother result;
  • And one more reason, but not in favor of clients – nail file manicure is somewhat more expensive than all the others because it is new and not common.

Who suits nail file manicure?

In fact, this technique is ideal for all skin types and nail shapes. And even for the “stuck” cuticle, which, it seems, can only be removed by a sharp cutter.

Masters advise choosing just such a manicure if, after just a week after a regular visit to the salon, you have burrs, and the cuticle is fringed and prevents you from enjoying the result.

By the way, the nail file manicure goes well with gel polish. Some masters claim that with it the life of the coating is even extended, because the cuticle is removed even more when filed, and the varnish lies lower and deeper than in other cases.

File manicure safety

This item deserves special attention and will seem especially important to those who are afraid of the cleanliness and sterility of tools in nail studios. Perhaps you don’t even trust the professional oven processing that is so prevalent in the studio these days. After all, who knows whether the masters really follow all the rules, and do not try to finish this part of the work as soon as possible.

With a nail file manicure, you should not worry about safety! The nail file attachments used in this manicure are designed for single use only and are thrown away immediately after the end of the session.

Cons of nail file manicure

As we have already mentioned, an important nuance of a nail file manicure is its high price. In addition, it is recommended to do such nail treatment more often than hardware and combined manicure: at least once every 2-3 weeks.

To prolong the durability of a nail file, you can purchase a special file for home care – soft, non-traumatic, and approved by all aspects of this technique.

However, these few disadvantages will more than pay off with a beautiful and healthy look of the nails. And if you do nail file manicures regularly, you will soon notice that the skin has become softer, and cuticle growth has slowed down. But this is exactly the result that we all want to get, isn’t it?
