5 Secret Korean salon pedicure tricks (1)

Korean salon pedicure is a global trend, which, unfortunately, has not yet reached Russia. However, many of our compatriots managed to try it out while traveling around Europe and the USA and were delighted.

Korean craftswomen take care of the legs of clients quickly and accurately and also use a number of proprietary techniques. Which of them can be included in your home beauty routine – you will learn from our article.

To pamper yourself as if you’ve been to a salon, and not spend a dime, try the key techniques of Korean pedicure.

1. Never trim an ingrown toenail

Or a nail that tends to ingrow, it doesn’t matter. Each of us knows which nails she has are the “weak link”. And with them, you need to keep an eye out and never use scissors to shape or shorten. You can only use a nail file and medium abrasiveness. And try not to cut off the corners – it is important that the ingrown nail grows straight, otherwise, the skin next to it will be constantly under the threat of engorgement and injury.

2. Exfoliate the skin on your feet and toes

There is never too much exfoliation in a pedicure, especially in the open season! Dry rough skin spoils the look, the legs do not look well-groomed. If you have time, soak your feet in a warm foot bath for at least 10 minutes before exfoliating with a pumice stone, scrub, foot file, whatever. If time is very short, use them just by taking a shower.

3. Moisturize (not remembering yourself)

The feet – especially the heels – dry out very quickly in adults. The heel is protected by very thick leather, which makes it less permeable to any means. It takes more effort to get moisture to the right place. The Korean method is a large amount of lotion in thick socks. Ideally, overnight.

4. Whiten your nails

Yellowed nails can spoil the pleasant impression of the most well-groomed feet. Here are ways that help restore a pleasant natural shade to the nail plates. From mildest to strongest:

  • Apply lemon juice and rub with a brush
  • Apply a slurry of soda and citric acid
  • Use hydrogen peroxide
  • Use hair bleach

The last substance is the most effective, but it should be used with extreme caution. Apply with a cotton swab on the nails for no more than 10 minutes, then wash off with soap and water, and be sure to apply cream or oil on the nails and fingers.

5. Consistently use argan oil

Pure argan oil or products with its addition is the secret of Korean pedicure masters. It is argan that makes the skin unsurpassedly soft. Lubricate your feet at night and be sure to wear socks so as not to ruin the sheets. You will see and feel the result literally the next morning!

Also, Korean pedicure masters recommend that you give your nails a rest from varnish – at least a week every three months, and drink plenty of water. This allows the nails to be updated qualitatively, and grow healthy and strong.
